Advanced Technology Company is an aerospace welding job shop for Laser and Electron Beam Welding. Founded in 1971, the company has established a nationwide reputation for excellence in materials joining, fabrication, machining, assembly, design, and metallurgy.

This project was a head-to-toe brand revamp of their high-end welding facility.

Logo Redesign

Having never touched their visual brand since the company’s inception in 1971, the company’s management was hesitant and needed help visualizing their future. With our help we were able to create a new logo and brand identity that incorporated elements of their old brand into a more modern and recognizable logo mark.

Typography

Forged from geometric and technical styles, Industry stands sturdy and strong. The typeface can span from a refined vintage feel to an industrial futuristic vibe. We used Industry for headlines and displays coupled with the san serif DDT.

DDT is a subtly superelliptical, neutral-sans font family that is clear and legible and who's round corners match that of Industry.

The harmony of font weights and widths ensures immense flexibility and consistency for the future growth of the ATCO identity.

Website Revamp

The company initially came to us with the ask of developing a website for them. The initial objective was to increase sales by designing a captivating website that clearly communicates the company’s offering and streamlines communications. In performing a brand audit, we identified a number of gaps that needed to be filled to have an effective website and for the company’s brand to grow.
